Art On A Whimsy

Toys, toys, toys! Art On A Whimsy creates beautiful, magical and mythical toys from 100% natural wool, leather and wood. Being that this artisan is a music and art teacher you know she is keeping up on current trends with kids. She prides herself on always learning, continually adding to her bank of skills. Stop by her shop in the Hand-Made Village and see how she works her magic to create forest friends, polar bears, mermaids, puppets, games accessories and miniatures. You’re sure to find something extra special for the kids.

 

Lemon and Quinn

Born from the joys of becoming a new mom, Lemon and Quinn creates stylish, modern and Canadian-made clothing with sustainable and eco fabrics. Creating baby clothes such as full outfits, pants, hats, bibs and mitts. Lemon and Quinn places importance on being environmentally conscious but also staying trendy. Creating pieces that are gender neutral are also important. Swing by at the fest and meet the brains behind the clothing that is going to make your baby smile!

 

Small Potatoes

Holly Clark, a graphic designer, was looking to create cool stuff for her own kids that she wasn’t finding in the store. Before her first baby was born she dedicated much of her time to creating custom nursery items, a diaper bag, baby clothing and more. Clark creates beautiful pieces for boys, girls, gender neutral options and for moms. She also offers organic pieces!

 

ZAM!!

Add to the festival fun when you stop by ZAM!! They create zany toys and games that you’ll have to go and try for yourself! They make sure all the toys and games practice creative play with “ballzam,” poi and other hands-on activities that you must experience to believe.

Kunai

Kid’s clothing made with nothing but love! Tusa Rosebud cares about children, has a talent for textile arts and a passion for the prairies, all that is bottled up and put into every piece of kid’s clothing made.

 

Lady Bug Creations

Inspired by nature, beauty and functionality. Lady Bug Creations has lots for kids, and kids at heart, hand painted treasure boxes, light switch plates, tiles, greeting cards, pins and magnets and beautiful miniature puzzles!

 

Mumble Tease

Heather was on the path to becoming an illustrator with a Bachelor of Design from Alberta College of Art and Design but fell in love with silk-screening during a Continuing Education course. Now she brings her sketchbook to life on T-shirts. Amazing creations for the whole family including onesies for the little folkies!

 

Woodland Faery

Fairy houses, doors, wings, mailboxes, elves, dragon wands and more! All pieces are created by hand with natural materials to remind us of all the magic and beauty that surrounds us.

 

Scam Skate

Incredible design goes into each skateboard creating something functional and artsy! Not only are there amazing skateboards for purchase but there is also plenty of apparel for all ages.
