Inspired Menu by Chef Eraj to be Served Up at Folk Fest in the City

Red Seal Chef Eraj honed his culinary artistry in the Toronto restaurant scene and now holds the position of executive chef at the Fairmont Winnipeg. “E,” as his regulars fondly call him, has catered events such as the Much Music Video Awards and the Toronto International Film Festival, and on November 20, he’ll be serving up inspired cuisine from Louisiana, Cape Breton and Mexico at curated food stations at our Folk Fest in the City fundraising party for our community programs.

The cuisine isn’t the only thing that’s delectable about the evening. We’ve got deliciously wonderful bands bringing sounds from these three music meccas.

  • Everybody’s favourite brass band Dirty Catfish Brass Band will be bringing in the excitement of the Creoles and Cajuns.
  • The talented fiddle-driven Bart House Band will be delivering the Cape Breton kitchen-party style.
  • 2015 Folk Fest Main Stage performers The Mariachi Ghost will mesmerize with their traditional Mexican sound infused with progressive rock.

Sound like a party? It will be – all in support of our life-changing community programs that we could not not offer without your generous support.
