Meet Up In the Festival Campground
The festival site and campground area are very busy, and with so much to see and do, it’s easy to lose track of your friends and family. Luckily, several Campground Art & Animation sites are specially designed to be meeting spaces where you can kick back and maybe get to know new folks, too!
The ideal spot to gather before a show is the Folk Fest Sundial. This is an interactive timepiece that needs YOU to tell the time. You and your pals won’t miss your favourite band when you meet, first, at this site.
If you’re not in a rush, gather at the Folk Nests. These red and white hammocks are the perfect place to take a minute and recharge before heading back to the festival for more dancing. The hammocks are lit by solar lights, so you will be able to hang out there at any hour.
If you need a spot to connect for a meal, a nap, to stargaze, or to relax, swarm at The Hive. This multi-layered structure is designed for conversation, connecting and sharing and is brought to you by the same folks who created the Grass Bar.
