Play in the Festival Campground

Play in the Festival Campground

Grab some friends you camp with, or make some new ones at the many projects designed to get you and your fellow campers in some friendly competition! Folk Fest Glow Blowing is a 10-pin game played with smaller balls during the day – perfect for the kids! – then with full-sized balls at night.

Do you remember those rainbow parachutes from your school or day camp days? Travel back to the most playful time and experience the rainbow wonder again! A team of animators will lead parachute play at ‘Chute for the Stars.

When you’re feeling inspired by the workshops on stage and have the need to burst into song, join the Midnight Choir! Folkies can experience “singing with strangers” at special events throughout town during the year and, for the first time, right in our Festival Campground this year.

Finally, get your body moving and take part in a yoga class! After days sitting on your tarps and nights curled up in your sleeping bag, your body will thank you for taking the time to breathe, stretch, relax and connect with nature. Namaste.

The first time you hear someone yell “Happy Folk Fest!” followed by a roar of cheers that rolls across the campground, you’ll feel right at home.
