Wailin’ Wednesday: Yoga for a Cause

Calling all yogis! Want to get a yoga session in while supporting a great community program?

We are thrilled that Moksha Yoga Kildonan has selected the Winnipeg Folk Festival as their charity of choice for October. All funds collected for their Karma Classes this month will be donated to our Musical Mentors Program - a program that provides junior high and high school-aged students access to mentorship from local folk and roots artists as well as the opportunity to write and record their own songs.

Moksha Yoga Kildonan’s Karma Classes

The Musical Mentors Program just began again this fall with Keri Latimer (Nathan), Rusty Matyas (The Sheepdogs, Imaginary Cities) and Vanessa Kuzina (Oh My Darling) mentoring students at Churchill High School, Gordon Bell High School and David Livingstone School.

At the end of the month, Moksha Yoga Kildonan will have one of the program's mentors come to the studio and perform at a Live Music Class! Stay tuned for details.
