Winnipeg Folk Fest Session with Grace & Tony

Winnipeg Folk Fest Session with Grace & Tony

It was a pleasure discovering the music of Nashville, TN’s Grace & Tony at Folk Fest this summer. Their self-proclaimed “punkgrass” music could be heard on many stages over the festival weekend - a genre that sprung up organically when Tony met Grace and they began jamming together, combining his punk-rock sound with her gospel and bluegrass style.

This is the first-ever recording of "Adam of Labour" with their musical co-conspirators Chris Wilson (cello) and Kimmi Sampson (violin). We filmed on the deck of a very cool campsite backstage!
